The flight - memories part 1.

I knew, it's not going to be ease..
Our flight was in the afternoon, so I thought, we have plenty of time to prepare and I had no plan to rush.
Finally the taxi man had to wait!
And forgot to remove fresh food from the fridge:-)
Reached the airport. Ok. Still a lot of time.
But you know, every one has to go to the loo. Separately.
Remember to buy some water!
And how my little fellows went thru?
Franek is a perfect child for any kind of travelling.
He keeps attached to your leg and doesn't run away. Is interested in a journey and loves planes and airport just now, so he felt like in haven there!
Janek - We could predict that: he didn't want to seat in his pushchair at all.
So I've got some kind of security belts for him, to keep him close.
He was happy to wear them at first. Didn't know what it is, poor boy:-)
Once he realised that those belts going to limit his freedom, he has got mad and lied down on the floor when couldn't move away any more...
Thankfully, Janek had quite good mood and we've been able to keep him on the knees in the plane. Finished with pain in every muscle at the end:-)

Do you ask yourself, what are you gonna to wear for a flight?
Or you just put on anything?
When I was a child and had to go for a class trip, my mum was wearing me sports suit. Yes. She was saying that this is the most comfortable, and easy to put on and off. When the weight of the luggage was important, I had to wear some heavy pieces - to carry on the lighter backpack!
I still have this rule in my head, and put some heavy jacket on me.
Kids had to feel comfortable and prepared for changing weather as well, so I gave them long trousers and some jumpers on hand.
I just wonder if you have any special ideas for travel packaging?
I discovered that is no point to carry anything you not wearing on daily basis.
It's really low chance you gonna wear it on holiday too...unless its something for special occasion which is going to happen!
Few words about our destination next time...

Lazy Monday...

Monday was yesterday..:-)
But we had a very lazy day yesterday, so I couldn't even touch my laptop!
I had off, so I've done a lot of plans. I thought, I'm gonna clean the house, check toys (which one to the bin, and which to give away), and many more...
I wanted to lay down in my garden enjoying the sun too.
But there was no sun yesterday...and my energy just went off.
I was hardly keeping my eyes open.
I couldn't do anything.
Mr Daddy was playing football with boys and I was just watching on them.
The laziness continues till today, I say.
I've been working, but with really low energy level:-)
And finally I thought I'll brake my hand on my laptop mouse, because it's just stopped working (not just - some chocolate shake spelt in to it)..
Do you have sometimes one of those days, when easy things are overhelming and nearly not able to be done..?
I hope, I move on tomorrow:-) Please...!

Janek lost a little bit of his energy too...
Sun - come back, please!

June - the month of Birthday Parties!

This month is some kind of record...of Birthday Parties my kids are invited to!
All together five Parties!
I am as a Santa this month...
I really love to search for a gifts, but you know, a gift for child depends how close relation we have with them.
Its easier and nicer when we look for a gift of child we know, best friend or family. The worst situation is when we don't know a child and never seen him/her...
Thankfully all of those we going to, are quite close to us..

What is your way of choosing a gift? Do you just go to the shop and pick first thing you see or think it may fit? Or do you think about it from the first time you heard about the party..?
I'll honestly am a bit of both or maybe not..
I'll try to get something I would be happy my kids would get or try to match a gift with a little personality...if possible:-)
I try to give something useful, but it would make happy the little person too..
If I'm passing the test? I don't know, but believe, I do.
We went to get some gifts today morning, linking it with some nice walk in the sun. Janek was more than happy, when he could help us in choosing a gifts in a huge toy store..
Off course I can't tell you what we've got, but we've been done quite quickly today.
I have some inspiration for some ages myself.
For example: for age 1 year - ride-on, little buggy or some kind of garage or baby farm is good; for 2 years - depends of the child maturity - it can be something from baby stuff or kitchen or some pretend to-be toys...wooden toys are great for any occasion and sport equipment too...
Oh, it might be long, long list..I have thousands of ideas, but always try to match them to the little ones...sometimes the things they love is not what I like:-)
I really wonder how do you look for a gifts for your children's friends?
The other question and long topic is - how to make a perfect Birthday party for your own little one???
I may talk about it next time.

May picnic at botanic garden!

It's not going to be about tiredness, lactation issues, parenting obstacles or any other bad things today.
Grab your coffee and a chocolate bar (sic!), sit in your cosy chair (alone) and relax! It's May Bank Holiday, so I am going to share a few photos (we've got a million, so was so hard to choose some for you...) and give you some way how to spend the days off with your family - and its FREE:-)

Only when we went there I realised that we go there every year for a first May weekend!
The place is named National Botanic Gardens Glasnevin in Dublin.
What is important for the families with couple of children - the entrance is free and you can walk there how long you want to. We are going there when is colder or raining as well, because they have few closed areas that you can look at rare flowers or cacti.
Franek loves going there, because of the cacti! Do you remember, that in Cars from Disney Lightening McQuinn came up in to cacti:-)
The only one disadvantage I can see, is that you are not allowed to bring the bikes.
We sat in exactly same place where before and I could remember how Franek was crawling there few years ago:-)
This year was a time for Janek. He was so excited running around and between bushes and flowers.
Going there we feel that spring definitely is here and summer just approaching:-) Hopefully!
I had to bring a picnic blanket and tableweare set to make a real picnic.
When we came in there, Franek has choosen the place and managed to put everything in place:-)
And we enjoyed those couple of minutes when you can lay down on the grass,
look on the sky and just listen to the nature:-)
Janek has got VERY dirty at the end of the trip, but this was obvious if I decided to wear him white trousers:-)) My hubbie said he doesn't like this style but I love to make Sunday a special day and let him wear something different than sport suit.

This was a lovely day. One of those I wasn't thinking about a job and how many things left to do at home.
We just enjoyed the sun.

This week will be two months I switched to the blog, so for this occasion I'm preparing a special surprise:-) Watch me in the next days...
