Sunday afternoon...

What do you like to do on Sunday afternoon? The family day...cup of tea, going out or meet with friends??? We went to the seaside :-)

When I have day off I'm trying to catch up all home work. But I want to catch all the moments with my children as well, specially on Sunday.

I prefer to pick up some nice place to go instead of playing at home. Specially when the weather is good enough...

I promised to Franek that we're going to the sea today. But Irish weather is changing its face million times a day, so when we saw the rain in the morning I still kept a hope We will go..

Just after the lunch we could see the sun, so quickly picked up the changing bag and some drinks and went for a short trip. Franek took his bucket and shovels.

So very happy we landed to the seaside.

And than ... OMG ! Janek has got crazy! He run straight to the sea, and there was no way to play with a sand with Franek. I had to run and catch Janek ! But he's got wet very quickly any way:-) Thankfully they had a few minutes playing together but then started to fight about the shovels.

Finally, Janek lay down on the ground and started to roll on himself :-) Then, very dirty and happy went to the nearest playground.

Children's eye clinic

Franek had an appointment to the orthoptist in Eye Clinic, so he didn't go to school today. But he loves going to school and wasn't happy... He was a little bit frightened as you can see on the pictures...

Why we are going to check Franek's eyes? I wear glasses all my life, so I am a little bit sensitive in this topic:-) When Franek was one year old, I saw something like a squint in his eyes, but only on the pictures. So, when we went for his check up, I asked about an consultation and since then we have  checking every half year.

The doctors said that his eyes are showing very little abnormality. Because it was no difference in seeing between both eyes, he didn't get lenses. The last time it looked, that everything is correct. But he was so shy that I didn't know how they can recognise it, when he was not able to tell anything. 

Franek was great today! He told everything, what he could see, to the doctor. But we had some doubt, when he couldn't watch at the picture properly with a patch on eye... so we have another appointment in the next 6 months. I hope , that it was only some kind of shy as well. Kids can not concentrate on that kind of exercises to long:-) I am really happy, that Franek started to answer to the doctor. Janek had a great play time in the clinic as well:-)

Anyway, I am happy, that he is ok for now! If you have any doubt about your child seeing, don't wait - every day counts for a child. We have another appointment with Janek on Friday - as you can see, he has more serious seeing issues. So, I'll see you on Friday...

Cars

If someone would ask me, what your older son likes? I have no doubts - CARS. When he was eight months old, he has got a little wooden cars from Santa. 

I thought, it is too early, he won't be able to play with them yet. And I was such surprised when he was lying down on his tummy and with his little finger pushing them saying "bruuum" , so happy ,watching rounding wheels... 

 Since then his one love are cars. When he started to talk - his first questions were about cars brand names. When we started to walk on his feet, he was standing on the path beside the road and watching from one side to the other...cars. He hated when he couldn't see them on the road. 

There is no more interesting toys than cars, garages or airport can be too now. When he was nearly 2 years old, watched "Cars" from Disney. This was and still is best story on DVD for him. He is able to play any rules and characters from this movie. With text ! Have quite big collection of them:-) Now my little boy is nearly 5, and love to do a lot of his arts and crafts, sing and dance, build construction, but his  playtime with cars is like every day routine, just has to be done!
